C&J Concrete Coatings was founded by a team that simply loves working with concrete. We started this business to do the work we care about, on our own terms, and to bring a high-quality coating process to homeowners and property owners across northern Indiana and southwest Michigan.

We specialize in flake system floors built on a polyurea base coat topped with a clear polyaspartic finish. That combination gives you a floor that bonds tightly, resists wear, and looks sharp for years. It is not a shortcut process, and that is exactly the point.

Here is how our process works. We start by grinding the concrete surface down to open the pores and create a clean profile. We repair any cracks or pitting before a single drop of coating goes down. Then we apply the polyurea base coat and broadcast your choice of color flake directly into the wet base. Once that cures, we scrape and vacuum up the excess flake so the surface is smooth and even. Finally, we roll on a clear polyaspartic top coat that seals everything in and gives the floor its finished look.
